Christmas cards for my friends & family                                                                                           My creative space (yes that is a beer pong table)

Being self-employed, especially a photographer in the winter months, means I’m able to spend more time being creative. I’ve always felt like I had an artist’s mindset, just was stuck in a full-time job with no time to really put my work out there. Now I have more flexibility to step outside of my photography zone & play around with different mediums. Like these Christmas cards I made for friends & family this year.

Trust me, the Cricut did most of the work, but designing & putting it together was an expression of my personality & the understanding of the people receiving the cards. Which now looking at this my people are a little crazy, which is exactly how I like it.

Being creative & doing things I’m passionate about is more important to me than making a ton of money. I’d rather be happy doing something I love, making ends meet, then getting up and going to a place I don’t wanna be just to have a paycheck. Life’s too short people, get out there & take a chance! And if I fail in the next year, at least I won’t wake up in 20 years regretting that I didn’t at least try. But I don’t see failing as an option right now.

By the way, if you need help designing or creating cards, invitations, or anything else made out of paper or vinyl, I'm your person! Reach out and let's get creative.

Someone had a Margarita and then went to Jo-Anns....                                                                      Early Christmas present from my Mom, thank you!
